In the previous season of the Premier League, YayaToure made a total of 29 appearances for Manchester City and ever since he joined the Premier League on July of 2010, Toure has been an instrumental figure for the English club as he has helped them in winning 2 Premier League titles as well as a few other pieces of silverware.
Even at his 32 years of age, YayaToure is one of the most influential figures at the Etihad Stadium. YayaToure has a particular set of skills which allows him of being able to defend or attacking in the middle of the pitch. The Ivorian player is capable of helping out his team whether it may be in scoring goals or defending and with an endless stamina as well as work rate, even at his elevated age he still remains being a top class player and this is why many clubs are interested in signing YayaToure.
One of the clubs which has shown most interest in signing YayaToure is Inter Milan and Roberto Mancini will not give up in his pursuit of securing the services of the Ivorian player.
YayaToure has a contract with Manchester City which extends until 2017 but a few months ago he was being rumored of wanting to leave the English club due to some incidents which have been occurring but now it has been confirmed that Toure will fulfill his entire contract.
The agent of YayaToure, DimitriSeluk has confirmed that his client will remain with Manchester City for at least another season. The experienced midfielder himself has told the fans of Manchester City to not worry as he will continue with the team.
YayaToure said: “I will definitely stay. The fans don’t have to be worried.’’
Even though YayaToure said that he wants to continue performing as a player of Manchester City, this hasn’t stopped Inter Milan’s YayaToure who said that he will not stop in his quest of signing YayaToure and bringing him to Italy during the approaching summer transfer window.
Inter Milan’s Roberto Mancini said: “I spent six months explaining to him what he would find at Inter, then he spoke with his club and he fell off of our radar. But I haven’t given up on this, I’m waiting to hear his own side of the story and in the meantime I remain hopeful. Or else why would he have spent six months telling me that he wanted to come to Milan?”
