Dawson Confident About Squad Even When Injury Strikes

Amidst great speculation on the fate of badly injured Hull City, one of the best players of the team Michael Dawson has expressed great faith about his squad, on their way to lock horns with Liverpool.

Dawson is pretty confident that his team have this strength to manage a big game even when there have been serious injury bouts among the needed players. Hull City would be badly missing out on Robert Snodgrass given his dislocated knee but have got Steve to resolve the worries with élan.

McGregor (Alan) has missed out on the past 2 Premier League matches  courtesy shoulder complaint & he is being accompanied by Dawson in treatment room. Dawson is suffering from ankle injury while Steve Harper and Nikica Jelavic are also in treatment rooms following bicep & knee injuries respectively- after the costly 2-2 match draw with Arsenal.

All 3- Dawson, Harper & Jelavic- are eagerly waiting for their scan results that would decide their fate in the Liverpool game. However, Dawson is confident that Bruce might be able to keep all the worries at bay.

“The sole disappointment was the very injuries that we had to encounter yet this is where your squad comes. We were able to overcome those during our match against Arsenal. You do need a great squad since injuries would come along & our manager has been able to imbibe that sprit into the team by now”, remarked Dawson. “We would try to pick up but our actual strength lies very deep into the team which will help in the overall coping process.”

Speaking on his own ankle injury, the player said :”We are waiting to find about it this week. I did try to play along. T returned to the pitch yet the swelling seemed to be coming up already.”
